About Us
- The Tan Chong Group was originally founded as a small motor vehicle distributor in the 1950s. Up to now, Tan Chong has developed into one of the leading automobile groups in Malaysia, and is present in many countries around the world.
- In 2013, Truckquip had expended its business model into body building and chassis assembly business and setup its first Manufacturing plant at Seri Kembangan, Malaysia.
- In 2023, the very first product line-up in light truck sector has been launched in Vietnam, marking the cooperation between TQ (Truckquip - Malaysia) and Wuling (SGMW - China). TQ Wuling N300P is produced and assembled by TCIE Vietnam Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tan Chong Group in Vietnam.
